While making an insect makes sense to me, making an insect with a huge ass doesnt when its for a sport where jumping is a good thing - imo. Especially the profile makes me say this.

haha i disagree, i like the design. It seems that without it it would be off balance, and being an insect it wont be full of fat so it wont weight as much as it looks like it would, and think about it none can get behind to try and get the ball from you.
Yea, but it may be me, my brain is pretty small heh, and it's a mutant challenge anyway so...
But! I think it would look better with one less set of arms and some sweet antennas if you're going with a more insect-ish look like your sculpt, but if you're going more on the spider side the new legs design definitely works better...I think
I'll keep watching this one, cause I'll probably start a basketball player as well tonight. Have fun!

But I think what gilesruscoe was saying is that it's a spider, right now...cause you need to remove a set of arms or legs to be a bug
