Hey guys

My fiance and I finally got my new site layout online! It shows a bunch of work I recently posted in my Infamous 2 thread, as well as some more recent paintings. I got rid of a few older pieces too.

Mostly looking for feedback on layout and functionality, and if there are any blatant issues that are bothersome.

My only issue, and you probably have a good reason for doing it, is that the content isn't centred on the page.

Actually it's all kinds of awesome. Only crit would be a smidgen of padding on the left to not hug the side of the screen so tightly.

Really dig your color scheme and mouse-overs.

Awesome resume'. I especially love the Hunter design and all the different concept iterations of the man, beast, and weapons. That is a lot of work. Keep it up!

Nice site!! Clear and easy to navigate, with all your work big and bold right on the page. I'm a fan of how the text appears when you scroll over the images explaining where it's from/the name of the image. Good stuff :thumbup:

Really nice work you got there! I like the color scheme of the site, it's also really simple to navigate and everything important is on the front page, which is good.
I agree with jeffro, there probably could be just a little padding on the left.

Cool, glad you guys think it works overall!

In regards to no padding on the left... I did a Google search to see what are the most commonly used monitor resolutions and saw that 1280x1024 is what over 80% of the people on the internet use, so I kind of tailored it to the bottom-end users.

If you're viewing the site at 1280x1024, the images fill the screen perfectly once you click on them. I was trying to maximize screen space usage.

Skibur: The reason it's not centered is for the above reason

Oniram: I don't like keeping art on my site I cannot stand behind 100%. If I have any doubts about it, I'll either redo it or remove it completely. I'd rather be purely confident about everything on there than be happy with some and not with a few others.

ErichWK: Yeah, that was about 2.5 years ago or so, I still think they're kinda cool lookin' so I kept them

I like it but there a few things that bother me. I think that it should be centered, kind of like how Polycount is. Also it would be nice if there was a to get to another page of your work from one of pages instead of going back to the main page every time I want to see some other work you have done.
