I personally use maya and I started on Animation Master but as I'm sitting here talking to some of my friends and looking through polycount I notice most people I see use max, some use maya and a small percentage use blender but i dont see anyone that uses softimage...I'm just wondering what everyone uses?

than zbrush for sculpting and i do all my baking in xnormal.
don't think it really matters what anyone uses, the same things can be accomplished with all.
There are a few users here, though certainly a small minority. There was a recentish poll on which software polycounters use and it wasn't even bothered to be included : /
Personally it's Zbrush, Softimage, and xNormal for me.
Zbrush all the way though, but Mudbox is cool too.

I use Blender mainly but i also have the student version of 3dsMax, but i haven't learn't it that well yet.

Mudbox wont run as godly as zbrush does on my Comp it wont run at all

Oh god, I forgot how fubar that ui was. Tnx for making me smile with the terrible max ui. And I did shit (literally) with that thing...it's been so looong.
