Heya polycount...my name's Pierre but go by sketchzombie..(either is fine)...my foundation is 2D character concept art...but since its not only a hard role to come by and fill, I'm pursuing the title of Character Artist...looking forward to some C&C throughout this journey

Made use of an generic female bust from previous project...had fun even though performance went to shit in Sculptris when i turned off symmetry...all Sculptris over 700,000 tris.

how do you like sculptris vs zbrush?, just curious

I'm a big fan of Sculptris's ability to jump in and block out rough form and initial details without thinking about subdivisions and topology, it's the perfect 3D sculpt-sketching pgm (for organics)...and zbrush is the super tool

this guy completes the demon set, all done in zbrush, texturing in zbrush was a learning experience, Id prefer 3D coat texturing if it could handle hi poly work....ill take my lessons on to the next project

I spent roughly 2 weeks roughing these guys out to do some hard surface work in zbrush....should be a serious challenge.

More hard surface practice...though I did take it further than expected.
I call it "CombustaBlade"...Futuristic alloys and compact nuclear power have married in the creation of a exploding blade.
"Yes", with just a flip of a switch you can ensure that your unholy enemies feel your wrath beyond the slash, all while striking fear
in the blackest of hearts as you emerge from fire,smoke, and blood.
