3DS Max 2011 D3D issues

Hey there,

So about 2 months ago my viewport in max just started acting all wonky and since I use it pretty much every day for work, I didn't have the time to look into the cause. After playing around for a few minutes I realized it was only happening in D3D mode so I reverted and switched over to Open GL and it fixed the issue. Now that we're not in crunch mode however, I'd like to get the issue sorted out. I've tried re-installing my videocard drivers and it hasn't helped. I also noticed while using Team Viewer with a co-worker that he's having similar issues on his system so I'm not sure that a re-install would help. Any idea what might be causing the problem? Its even worse when I start animating things... reminds me of the old screensaver of the wireframe triangle that leaves a trail of itself as it bounces around the screen.
