Photoshop - Inking lineart

I was wondering if anyone knows what tool, starting at 1:40, is being used in this video:

I don't really use the Pen tools in Photoshop, maybe its something to do with them?

Hard to say for sure without checking, but that looks like the paintbrush tool from illustrator. Seems to switch applications at that point.
