I've lurked around Polycount but never really registered. I'm an undergrad business student at USC aiming to be a producer on video games. That being said, I love the art side of it and have been doing 2D art/animation for years now. Recently I've started doing 3D work, but all my work is probably unsuitable for games due to high poly counts.
This website is a fantastic resource, and I know there's probably some fantastic tutorials I haven't found yet. If anyone has recommended tutorials for low-poly modeling, working with UV maps, and anything else you think a beginner would need to get the right foundations, please send them my way.
I tend to learn programs pretty quickly. I'm looking mainly for tutorials on Maya & ZBrush 4, though I'm also eyeing 3D-Coat because its workflow seems fantastic.
