Texturing Practice.

Working on some Zbrush + MAYA+ Photoshop.

So just want to start with some small pillars .....so here it is Texturing is W.I.P

Looks pretty good, from a modelling point of view I think you could make the edges of the damaged bits a tad sharper and maybe add some smaller chips here and there. Also might be cool to add some rebar sticking out of those damaged areas just to add a bit of extra detail. Having said that your pillar looks more like rock than concrete so I guess that depends on what your going for.

Texture wise, I think you could push it further with some finer details, maybe some more defined dirt around the base, maybe some moss. Its kinda hard to tell from the renders but the dirt streaks in the top image seem to exist only on one side which seems kinda strange to me but thats being picky.

Overall its a good looking piece of stone just keep going and see how far you can push the details. The ground looks cool too but again maybe some grass, some stones scattered around (in the texture).

PS - Id play with the stones spec a bit, seems a bit too uniform,

Logan5 Agree with u now again start sculpting in z brush n add some more details n rocks around d pillar n i try to make it of rock and one more thing that is mention that texturing is W.I.P
