I thought it'd be interesting to see what others are doing with their characters in Skyrim, since it's not like we'll be running into each other in game. Post up a screenshot.

Carrying on my tradition of being a stylish, yet deadly, woman-assassin.
Argonian, Custom class. Level 24. Mix between a Battlemage and archer. Not the best for the Argonian, but his base magic stats do help a BUNCH. Also that disease resistant blood and water breathing helps a ton. I did smith that Elven armor myself though, so yay!

Just started really. I wanted to be a tanky character with some dark magic, so I've gone with conjuration and bought this summon spell. I wanted a kind of Leech-Life kinda spell to go with my class, but I don't think there is one. I picked a nord which doesn't seem to excel at One-hand, Block, Heavy Armour or Conjuration, but she'll do. I think the game knew what I was going for, as the first useful items I found were a necklace that gave me aditional damage blocking and a helmet which gave me enough magika to summon these. I've been putting most of my perks in One-Hand at the moment but not sure whether to go for extra crit sword perk or damage over time axe perk.
Being on the hardest difficulty seems alright, for now, but it feels like I'm cheating when I have to get my bow out for certain fights.

Companions.
I will post up a picture of my character today or tomorrow perhaps. I have a full Dragon Scale Armor set crafted now and am working on some Daedric weapons. Was going to wait until I had my Daedric Maces to take a picture but Daedra Hearts are pretty rare.

The mouse wheel, you don't need the 'F' key at all really because you can just scroll in and out of third person.

I'm playing with a controller on the PC! Just found out it's hold down right analog-button and use left analog to zoom in & out.

Almost level 30 Nord warrior. I just spent like 2 hours in a stronghold of afflicted... I didn't even clear it, huge place.

Don't do the thief guild job quests. Do the main thief guild story line from Mercer and Brynjolf.

And I let my 2.5yr old daughter make a character. I drove the controller while she made decisions. Pink argonian named, I kid you not, "A and B".
edit: for comparison my character's level 36, and doesn't have 10% of the gear zipf's character has :P
And why are all the companions women? Haven't met any guys yet.
I thought companions would be pretty annoying at first but she's totally awesome.

The elven male races and human male race is fugly.
Mine is a mage, I havent decided what to go for so I am just leveling until I am ready to decide which profs should I follow for the rest of the game.
Haha, yea I was thinking the same thing. You do have the option of choosing between two male companions in that first little village you stumble upon once you get out of the tutorial scene.
They're both little betches, however, but for me, my companions aren't much more than pack mules for my stolen items or meat shields.
