Hey guys, im new here and wanted to show you my latest work, starting with the Oakley Gloves:
I used 3ds max 2011 (model and baked normals) and Zbrush 4 for the gloves + arm + sleeve
The gloves are rigged.
Baked normals
Another work i wanted to show is a car, so here is the render:
Ps. ive put this car into the NFS Shift game, video can be found on my site (link at the bottom)
The rest of my works can be found at my website i don't want to make this a huge thread :P
Crits are always welcome

Only thing that pops in my head is that the carbon fiber part is thicker. Maybe model it in your low.
When you hand is flat, the hard knuckles are slightly thicker than the rest of the glove. I don't know if that makes sense.
However, only the part around the knuckles is leather. The rest is all nylon. Maybe I'd tone down the spec a bit on these areas.
Here's some refs I just took. Sorry, photography isn't in my skillset :P
Red = Leather
Green = "Nylon"
Blue = i believe some ventilating material
If it can help, here's the tag :
50% Nylon
20% Span
15% Polyurethane
10% Genuine Leather
5% Keprotec
Also, if you actually look at Oakley gloves that are worn, they aren't all that form fitting and tend to have a little bit of baggyness to them. Not a lot, but some. Like the others are saying, the Oakley symbol and the rubber nibs on the fingers should probably be accented from the low poly and the nibs should come out more. Gir has it right on with the carbon fiber in that it should be smooth and letting the other maps he mentioned pull out that detail. It also looks as if the nuckles need to come up much more.
Alot of things are done propper, well here is the render.
Now i will smooth out the leather and the fibre glass, so in the next update it will be smooth, after the new bake i will do the fibreglass on the spec map etc.
thanks for the crits its really helpfull, btw it will get a dirt layer to make it look worn etc. etc. you know
its not done yet.

Thanks alot
Haha i agree the car doesn't belong in a NFS game but i had to do something with it and well NFS was the first thing in my mind :P
Ill try and keep up the good work
PS. here my POF 308 rifle:
Still need some fixing on the edges and smooth some stuff
Thats hi-poly indeed, yeah lots of work, ive had a different stock but that wasn't as cool as i hoped so i modelled the a new stock but ill be bringing the hi-poly into zbrush fix edges makes them smoother.
Barrel:
Mossberg 590 shotgun:
Low poly + Wireframe:
High Poly:
