looking nice, however you seem to want to be jumping into more detail quickly without fleshing out the concept completely, in dynamesh try staying at like 200-300 resolution for a bit longer and get the major shapes how you want them
Hey thanks for the feedback - And yeah >.> I may be biting off more than dynamesh can chew. It's really really dandy though to have Zbrush just automatically average out your topology like it is. But I quickly forget that dynamesh in its current state is geared towards making base mesh, but not for actual detailed sculpting.

no problem, dynamesh is really fun...i really feel that it changed the game(so to speak) in terms of digital sculpting. i also really love the insert ear and hands brushes...since its usually a pain to sculpt those from scratch
Hey thanks for the encouragement! I'll definitely keep chugging along on this one. I think that's the only thing really blocking me at the moment is I just lack pieces
It's been awhile since my last post because of wellll swtor beta and moving
This has been a pretty amazing week of WAYWO O_O I just wanted to pretty much tell everyone that their work is amazing (... evverrryyyy onnnneeeee *shifty eyes*)
Here's what I've been working on:
I need to finish up my sculpting before me move apartments on the 5th D:I think this is about 95% done in terms of digital sculpting.
I think the head and neck could stand some work, and a final polish pass on the robes which look a bit lumpy.
Edit: oh and if anyone has an quick tips on how I could polish up his lump-o-robe, by all means hit me up in a PM. I think what I'm going to end up doing is masking off folds and messing around with smooth and the polish brushes a bit.
There's a cool clay polish button in r4 I might mess around with as well.
I think base on the feedback I'm getting - I'll need to make another pass on the face a bit to make it match the rest of the model, and possibly refine those folds (and the mid split) a bit more It could have just been a byproduct of the symmetry brush settings that I overlooked (or just kind of disregarded).

also, was that seam on the face intentional?
Thanks for the feedback Blaisoid.
Without the sharpen effect
Added a slight blue back-light to see if I could make it pop.

Here's a detail of the texture - an area that I was pretty happy with.
Just all of poppy's shields side by side by side to compare for style
And a quick shot of poppy with the new shield in place.
Gimme dat texture sheet.
