Yeah, i've been looking for years, i've never seen it again, so I ask to all you nerdy bastards.
I'm looking for a game title i've been playing at the supermarket when i was a kid.
It was nearly 20 years ago, and i'm pretty sure it was the SNES.
The game looked kinda like Castlevania IV, except you could be seconded by an NPC, which could be some barbarian throwing axes, or a wizard with some kind of magic balls (erm). I kinda remember the world was a big tower.

Was it more of a single player game, where you could summon NPC's to help for a second?

It seems to be a sort of King of Dragons clone. One dude has an axe, not much (any?) magic though... seems to be a lot of tower/castleish levels later on.
It's probably not what you are looking for.

I totally forgot the design tho, i thought it looked more realistic, and better haha. But the tower definitly reminds me something, and the npc barbarian throws axes !

edit : ooh maybe was it the arcade version ? Looks definitly better. Not sure we had this in EU at that time ?
