3D COAT AUTORETOPOGLY QUESTION

How can i use 3dcoat autoretopogloy tool? Ive place the guides correctly i entered the average poly count of 1500 for my low poly character but 3d coat always puts 2500 polys in. Is there away to force 3D coat to use the number of polys you require only?

Not since I last used it, the polys you input are an averaging of how many polies will stretch uniformly.

Why not ask the official forums? The guys over there will know more and are pretty active.
