Hey guys, another asset. This time loosely modeled off of the statues on the Hoover dam. Here's the sculpt, about halfway done, still no surface on it. Sculpted in ZBrush.
This is the low poly with 3100 tris and the very beginnings of 3x(1024x512) maps. Rendered in marmo. Bronze is a fairly complex mat.....
Would love any and all feedback!

And here's a 3/4 shot of it so you can better see the legs, etc.
Keep it up!
Edit: Never mind about the feet. the 3/4 shows they are fine.
A nice way to get Bronze, is a very dark reddish/brown diffuse, with a copper/yellow-ish spec.
Seems like a lot of the grout and surface materials aren't really matching up IMHO. I really think the flatter/exposed areas should be cleaner, while the recessed areas are the parts that should accumulate the grout.
essentially ambient occlusion but a bit rougher.
Oh, and it could stand to use a bit more scratching in the surface, and just overall more contrast in the shininess/dullness. Possibly even some more discoloration (throw random washes of blues yellows, and greens in the spec and diffuse using a large pencil tool at 3% opacity).
Great jerb tho Mr. Dim.
