Lookin good man. Maybe get some more, smaller rocks around the area where the rock wall touches the ground. Theres a pretty harsh line there right now.
Also, could benefit from something a little more interesting going on on the ground. With the torches going along the rock wall, seems like this is an often travelled path..would be cool have some sort of trail going through...maybe just a bunch of footprints in the sand, like this:
Update.
1.Added a new rock to the family to mix it up.
2.Added wires to the cliffs and Holographic machine.
3.Footprints in sand not showing up the greatest.
Do you have any real world refs of these kind of rocks?
Scene looks like it's heading the right direction, but I'm not certain about the specular shape/roughness on the rocks, seems to narrow in my opinion. Unless it was raining perhaps. Rocks most certainly should have spec, but it's usually quite wide and mostly apparent in more glancing angles from what I've been able to see. There's probably loads of factors to it, rock type, climate, etc.
Great looking scene so far, I like the stylised look of the rocks and their textures, it's refreshing to see moderate and well balanced detail.
Also may I say that this scene with grey rocks is not really arid, dusty sandstone rocks maybe, but seeing as it looks great now why not go in totally the opposite direction and create a muddy, slippery scene with some wet rocks. I think your onto a winner!

Updated Lighting
,but thank you for the post. I probably should tone down that scrape spec.
Otherwise i agree with the shiny rocks.
1. Changed Lighting
2. Moved Holographic sign to opposite side of scene.
3. Brought the Spec Down.

They look a bit soft, but I am definitely getting the Borderlands feel. I like.
No tiled textures on these rocks. The only real reason they looks soft is probably because i still need some zbrush sculpting practice!

I appreciate it thank you! :poly136:
Both of the rocks fill up a 1024 each.
