So this is based on a digital weapon tutorial, it was a bit outdated so i followed along losely and finished it up using my own process. Pictures are taken in UDK, some of the texture colors appear off, for example the blade has some black edges that dont show up on my texture sheet or in Max....anyways i feel a bit conflicted about the texture, i feel it could be better but not really sure how to fix it so suggestions are totally welcome!

Textures a bit cloudy, Go in and sharpen up the areas where the blades been sharpened, and you lack separation in in specular quality like it could be higher in specularity on the edge of the blade.
It's also really unnecessary to to have four maps for this guy. Combine them down and straighten out those UVs, you're wasting a lot of space.

What material is the handle? It would probably look better if the handle was straight.
