Hi, I've got a question for you guys. I've done a lot of research, and haven't found what it is I'm looking for so I'm hoping you guys can aid me.
Ever since I watched the following video (and related videos regarding face recognition motion capture), I've become increasingly interested in the idea of creating my own face and purchasing the required stuff to fully animated the modeled face based on my own face. It's not an impossible feat, and I'm sure I have the money for this as well.

My question is, how much does facial motion capture hardware go for? Believe me when I say that I looked on Google for "Facial Motion Capture Package Price" and found nothing really relevant to an actual price. I found websites that talk about it, but nothing that really shows any particular prices which is what I'm interested in. Please help me Polycount!

We got a little body/face mocap rig less than a year ago at my work from OptiTrack.
Its a lower end system compared to whats out there, but you can get a facial setup from them for about 6 grand. http://www.naturalpoint.com/optitrack/products/expression-bundles/
Thats a lot of money to spend on what seems like a personal project.
Maybe you could look into some of the various kinect hacks out there and go that route? I'm pretty sure I've seen some videos of people getting facial capture this way.
FaceRobot is included in softimage now, its pretty awesome, you should check it out.

You might also want to check out Maskarad, its a markerless system, I haven't used it and it looks kind of budget but seems like it might be an ok place to start.

Thanks both of you guys tremendously!
