Here's hoping there's more shit to blow up and less political ranting at the end of the game. Also, I hope they up the ante with enemy presence when you get into a plane or jet, I want some proper dogfights!

Oh interesting! nr 2 was definitely a great game. I hope they'll add some more depth to the gameplay though. They have such a huge world, but it ended up feeling lifeless and dull after a while. All the scripted/premade missions, collectibles and challenges just all felt the same in the end.

If they'd combine the huge world & free movement with some "procedural" techniques to make it more interesting and have longer lasting appeal it could well be one of the best games I've ever played.
You know like the generated guns in Borderlands, or some sort of random treasure hunting thing that serves more than just "collect 'em all".

Also mp/co-op destruction! Man, just being able to mess around with a buddy and tie our airplanes together or something would be a selling feature for the sequel!

Some form of open world MP (destroy their stuff, protect yours) would be awesome! Considering the variety and capabilities of the weapons and vehicles in the game, it'd almost be foolish to not have a "devil's playground" mp map.

I wonder if anyone's ever modified JC2 on PC for MP, or at the very least made the enemy jets chase you down. Lord knows I wanted so bad to recreate some Top Gun scenes.

Well, there is (or was) a mod calle JC 2 MP but their site is down. I guess they never finished it.

I'm still annoyed about stupidly trying to get 100% and then finding a camp around the 88% mark with 1 object that was glitched and wouldn't appear, thus making it impossible.

First person mode inside the aircraft / certain ground vehicles + Kinect head tracking would be awesome.

Looking forward to it! I never got far in JC2, I just played until it let you go do whatever and I just played around in the sandbox. Racked up a decent amount of hours just screwing around.
