Hello, I am looking for any feedback on my scene Here, I just started working in maya at the beginning of the year and I am eager to learn as much as possible. CCM261
Well it's a good start. My crits are that the lighting is very flat and uninteresting, and your materials could use a bit of work. But overall, as it looks like it was rendered straight from Maya, I'd recomend you download the UDK for free here:
Learn the basics of UDK, and try to put your scene together in in the UDK. If you want to become a game artist, it looks much better on your portfolio for your scenes to be done in a game engine, rather than rendered from the modeling package. Also, UDK will give you access to some awesome lighting and post processing effects to really make your scene go somewhere.
