Magpul Masada - WIP

Hey everyone, long time lurker, first time poster. Figure I'd show what I've been working on.

Here's the low.

And here's my high. Here i added in rivets and the grip areas on the magazine and hand guard. I've still got to sculpt in the bumpy details on the body and the handle. I've been messing around with the NDO2 beta recently so I might give it a try for those parts.

I'm in the process of fixing up my normals at the moment. Then I'll be texturing it.
I'd be happy to hear any suggestions or critiques!

There's almost no difference in your high-low poly mesh, save for a few minuscule details. Your foregrip looks tacked on instead of actually attached, without seeing the actual bottom of the rifle, I can't tell if it's supposed to be like that, but I can tell the positioning's too high based on the fact that it clips with the high poly ridges. You're completely missing the rear iron sight, as well as the Picatinny rail on the top. You haven't put in the edge on the back of the grip where the bumpy texture is, your slide is a little nub instead of that big slab of metal jutting out from the side, and your forms on the trigger guard and the front of the gun where the original foregrip terminates are too hard. There's subtle sweeps that you're completely missing. The locking mechanism on the stock is too shallow and your actual stock is still "low poly".

    Less stream-of-consciousness, short version:
Neither your low or your high poly meshes are done, and your model doesn't match the reference. Keep cracking at the modeling aspect of it.
