Hey everyone!
Here are some of the before/after works I did in Rage with the id tech 5 megatexture technology. I give much credit to all the designers of the levels I had the privilege of working on as a canvas. I will post just a few pieces now and come back with more.
Justin Owens with his amazing terrain of rocks and Phillip Bailey with his awesome foliage pass.
The epic caves that Justin Owens made and were a blast to work on! Phillip Bailey did the foliage pass as well a moss pass to add a little extra love.

on a side note:
Im a little confused as to why they are different sizes when I uploaded them to my photobucket all at the same time... they all had the exact same resolution before I uploaded them... photobucket just decide to randomize the size of them?

Power Surge - thanks to James Kincaid for doing an awesome graffiti pass giving a little extra love and color to the level. Always nice to have another artist look to see what something needs with a fresh eye.

and this one I wasn't sure I wanted to post, but keep just for myself.. but what the heck! just thought it was cool how powerful the megatexture tech is that I was able to make simple looking box shacks like these, into something so much more!

Even though you can't do a breakdown there is still a lot of good ideas just in the before and afters. I saved most of them for random inspiration when working on my own work.
