Hello, if this is in the wrong section I'm very very sorry.
I'm relatively new to Maya and am working on texturing a low-poly bicycle with a low-rez texture. I have tried to use pixel snap to align the UV edges to the pixels in my texture.
My problem:
-If I align the UVs to the pixels in the UV editor and I can see the pixels are aligned in my viewport, when I render they are unaligned
I've got a picture of what's happening.
The UVs are lined up properly in the render but not in the UVs or in the viewport. They seem to be half a pixel off in each direction. I feel like there's a simple solution for this, but I wasn't able to find anything. Maybe I don't know what to look for.
Does anybody have any idea? I can live with everything being half a pixel off, it's just annoying and I feel like there must be a better way.
