I mean the technology has been around for a while but it wasnt really used like this.
Personally, I've always hated the move away from physical technology.
I like the tactile feel of a mouse and keyboard, the numpad on my phone, a console controller. The whole motion control/ you-are-the-controller and touchscreen trends feels imprecise to me.
I'll always have more prescision with a 1 pixel cursor than my rounded fingertip.

Imagine texture painting in that with a stylus and moving the model with a 3D mouse
