I've been wanting to get started this project for about a year now but other more urgent projects have taken up my free time. It was based after a zscuplt I did a while back and now I have some spare time and I want to finally work on this thing. A dumpy little fish with man-boobs. I did a quick sketch over the sculpt to try and focus my ideas. He's going to have electric eels in the tank on his back to power his jumper cable weapons.
Critiques and comments are as always welcome!
(Please excuse the sloppiness I am no concept artist lol)

@burtonyang That is a great Idea, I'm currently sculpting atm so I will try to give his legs some more girth. I am going to be looking at warhammer orks legs as I sculpt for refrence since they are usually pretty top-heavy as well. It seems although their legs are short, they are nearly as thick around the ankles as their arms
@ChrisPerr It is currently rendered with zbrush, I was fairly suprised how effortless it was to get decent renders out of it.
Should have an update by the end of the day.
Should really have the hook in his mouth like he went to eat the worm or whatever on the hook and it got caught?
@itismario Moved the hook downward to give it a little more weight as suggested.
@3Drobbo I can't believe i over-looked the way i had the hook in! lol thanks for pointing that out.
If you guys see anything else lemme know! I'll be sculpting more today.
Just a couple of things: The inside of his mouth would be better if it looked more like the fish mouth in the picture 3Drobbo posted and should a fish have a bellybutton? If so, you should define it more.
I plan to pick up the pace starting tomorrow.
Critiques welcome!
Moar Sculpting, alot of it still pretty rough. Ive really been chewing my time on this one. C&C welcome!
Lovin' it so far
great stuffs
Why not do some of it in a modeling package and then bring it in and detail it?
In anycase... cool stuff man! Keep the updates flowing.
@Jeremiah_bigley - I don't think they're actually subdivided but I could be wrong. I know he's got the model broken down into a lot of subtools so it might just be the material?
Looking great man, finish this up!
