With the slow love for pc release with crysis 2 and with even Carmack now admittedly putting the pc on the backburner. I have switched to proving my new hardware pron on the metro demo instead of crysis ( yes but will it run in metro? )
Wish it looked a little better in some parts but it's nice to know that some still have the balls to push the frontiers. For $5 dollars today I think the full game is a no brainer buy! ( 75% off on steam )

Then again, that THQ pack is only fifty bucks and it has a bunch of games including this I've wanted to check out.
This is a conundrum.
Pre-war ammo has higher value, and packs more punch, while post-war has less value, and is weaker.
So do you risk going into a dark area, where monsters could pick you apart easily with cheap ammo, because you wanted to buy that fancy new shotgun, or do you keep the premium ammo, for when the tough gets going?
Took me while to get in grips with the barter mechanic without dying later on because my decisions cost me.
What I did manage was a good game though, worth picking up.

This game was good though, I liked it alot. It does have some scarier moments. Looks great though, one of the best DX11 games right now. Pretty good length too. I paid 20$ for it, but it was worth it imo.

I'm a little bitch. I'm not proud of it, but I'll readily admit to it. You should've seen me when I tried playing the demo for Amnesia; I screamed like a little girl and had to run into the other room and turn on all the lights.
I found the first one to be quite fun, although I had to watch the last few levels on youtube because of a bug.
Y'know, the Library didn't freak me out anywhere near as bad as the Ant Lion hives in HL2 Ep 2. Getting chased through the hive tunnels by the Royal Guard was massively more freakish.
GET THIS GAME. IT IS GREAT. Also get the book, it's pretty awesome really.
