Hello folks. New to the forum, pretty new to 3D in general.
I've poked at 3D for the last couple years but didn't make a concerted effort to learn anything until a few months ago. I've used a few programs but I honestly find blender to have the most intuitive interface / workflow for me.
I'm not completely sure what the ultimate goal of this is, I don't think I'll ever have the talent to make a career out of it, but I get a lot of enjoyment out of modeling. So here's some of the work I've done over the past few months, and some sketches from the past year or so. Constructive criticism is appreciated, though I already know I'm not a particularly good artist
Hey, welcome to the boards. Seems like you've got a pretty good understanding of 3D so far and you 2D stuff is on its way. Whatever you decide to make of this, I hope you get what you're looking for. Anything in particular you'd like help with?
I needed a box for something, I like how it turned out. I just got through playing portal 2 and wanted to try my hand at hard surface + organic. (I'm aware I mirrored the textures on the planks but since this will be just a random asset I didn't really see the need to texture the entire thing)

Good job for taking this on and learning even though it's not your main field great stuff

Work in progress. There's also a roof that goes over it not pictured. Any critique on making the wood look better?
