Just a personal project I'm working on, a replacement healing weapon for the Medic in Team Fortress 2.
As you can see, I'm using floating geometry for the vents along the top part of the shroud, but for whatever reason they still cast a shadow when I apply ambient occlusion (even though each one has casting shadows turned off in its properties.) Anybody know a solution to this?
As always, comment & critiques always welcome. This was an ambitious project for me as I've only been modeling for about 2 months now, looking forward to seeing what people think.
