Why so pessimistic to assume someone a thief? You have no criticism for it?
He assumed that because he didn't know that you had permission to use it. I've seen lots of cases where licensing was an issue... As for imrod, he looks much more advanced than any of your game characters, even your main character is nowhere near the same level of detail. It will most likely play in favor if its a boss fight.
Yeah, I'll be honest and say the best looking model (not just based on polycount or texture size or whatever, is the imrod one. The rest look fairly lacking, or rushed or something. If you are going to use the imrod model, make everything more comparable in relation to quality. Because I watched the video, and thought "Meh" until I saw that model (and I didn't know you guys didn't make it), and then I thought "Oh, that model looks pretty good, though!
It was the highlight, when you want EVERYTHING to be the highlight.
