Strange Normal maps baking problems

Alright, having a bit of a brainfart here.

Trying to bake certain pieces here on my home computer. But NOTHING is working.

Tried xForm, playing with the smoothing groups, Scanline/Mental Ray, and I always get the same result.



What am I doing wrong? :shifty:

It's really simple pieces, and I can't even get these baked.

hmm... try to export it as .fbx and see if there is any problems with the mesh (little trick i learned in my own thread a few days back :P)

are the cages okay?

Fixed it by exporting everything in my scene into a new scene.

Still a major pain in the rear, but at least, it's working now.

Yeah my projection cage was OK. Still had issues when I used xNormals.
