Hello Polycount hulagins!

I am proudly presenting 2013 : Infected Wars. It is Action Mobile Games first game, for the iOS market. We are looking forward to some good feedback while we near our release. Characters and gameplay are at the top of the to-do list! Still at the alpha stage.

Yeah, that was totally Dmitry Parkin's Imrod model. Is that being used with permission?

Aside from that, it actually looks pretty cool. The only thing that is bringing it down are the characters. Not so much the models, but the way they contrast with the environments.
For example, there are no drop shadows on the characters. Creating a single plane with a radial gradient texture would suffice if resources are too restrictive for realtime shadows.
Also the characters are always the same brightness, even on the levels with low lighting.

I won't get a chance to check out the final because I don't own an i-device, but good luck with it.

errr, hmmm, is the maker involved in this? i know he released the model to the public, but i don't think it was under commercial use.

The game hasn't been released yet. And yes, he did give Action Mobile Games permission to use his Imrod. You can check out our development blog where we gave him credit on it: http://www.actionmobilegames.com/blog/

Don't worry guys.. we wouldn't pull a stunt like that.

Emil Mujanovic- We are pushing hard to improve ALL of the character aspects, and will have another release trailer that shall not disappoint
