Since Spitfire and I work together, we thought it would be nice to challenge eachother. What better way then to publicly fight it out on polycount.
We will do a vehicle challenge, since we both can use one in our portfolio.
This will push us to apply our own techniques in different ways.
Some rules,
- 30k tri's is our target
- 4k texture maps, which can be split up into multiple smaller ones
- Presentation has to be realtime
- No real deadline, invest time and get it done
- Ofcourse breakdowns must be added
The end result and the execution should determen defeat.

Sweet concept chosen by spitfire, hope to get to see yours to Rens, unless you are going with the model plane then this could get really interesting.

Lots to do still,, the tail is somewhat thinner than in the concept but i want to make it slimmer, since it looks like a phat whale from other angles otherwise.
Also the concept in some areas does not make sense geometrically, so i try my best to work around it.
This is my lowpoly, ill make highpoly parts rather than a full highpoly model of the entire thing and bake that down, to save time.
I dont have much time to work on it though, so its a very slow process
