Original Game: Memoir of Ivanrah

Brief description:
An explanation of the game will be conducted in the next sections, of which I am adding to the template

Story History
Memoir of Ivanrah takes place after a great plague has swept over the entire planet, taking the lives of about one third of the planet's entire population. In the wake of the plague, many dynasties and kingdoms had their rulers and their families perish, including Ivanrah and Kort'ul.

Due to the need of leadership, many of these countries turned to appointing once unknown persons to control these lands. A man of the name Agustin Dormandier took the seat as king of the country of Ivanrah. Peace fell across the country as he supported many endeavors in arts, education, and the building of a strong defensive army, in hopes that the surplus of available jobs would help those in need, and to also help ward off any possible threat from the increase of poverty in other areas of the world.

Due to the nature of the plague, people living in close proximity of one another took the brunt force of the deaths, leaving many farming lands still operable after it dwindled away. The over production of food, with the small demand for it, caused many farmers and livestock owners to turn to other forms of work, including joining the ever growing army of Ivanrah.

To the north of peaceful Ivanrah, the country of Kort'ul is struggling with poverty and a mysterious man kills off the monarch, taking his place as king. Kort'ul's army is building at dramatic rates and is causing concern for King Dormandier of Ivanrah.

Gameplay:
The game works off several key systems:

1. Time difference - As the game starts off halfway through an unraveled story, much is to be learned about the history of Ivanrah. The understanding of the plague and war will help the player uncover secrets and know where to continue with the game. Half of the game will be memory sequences of the main character which are playable, with an entirely different party.

2. The Butterfly Effect - Everything that happens with the party in the past will effect the party in the present. If the past party does something to upset someone, they will remember what happened and treat the player differently in the present. Doing things for certain individuals will effect their reputation with that person, which can be either beneficial or have negative impact on later dates. The emplacement of this feature will allow for the game to have different feels each time the player plays it!

3. Active Time Battle Side Battle System - Unlike normal Turn taking RPG styles, we plan on utilizing a system focused on an active battle system to decide how quickly/often the players characters attack based upon a statistic that increases with level and gear.

Compensation:
Any revenue (Profit) received by the team will be split evenly among all persons working on the game. If the game sells extremely well, the profit will obviously be higher.

2D Texture Creator - Make 2D Textures to wrap around all 3D Models and improve gameplay through visual stimulation.

This is the teams first endeavor together in creating a game. It was made specifically for this project.

We are not planning on rushing this work at all. We are all in understanding this may take 1-2 years and are fully committed to its completion. We are completely serious about this project as it is to be used to show our abilities and be used in our portfolios in future employment applications.
