Hey guys ,

Time to start a new freework project

So the basic idea for this one is an orangutan biker, I'm first going to do a concept in 2d and then create a 3d game character out of it

here are some head concepts to get things started

GREAT CONCEPTS! I would do B Because I think it would be the most challenging and you could put more character into the model.

Everyone thinks of bikers being fat (which a lot are haha) but no one ever does a skinny ratty scummy biker.

But which ever one you choose I will be following this thread

so i made a few variations on C since it's one i personally like myself with this hair and beard combo.

I think i'm going to go with B (last image) in the end but it's an attribute that can be added lateron so it doesn't really matter atm

Hahaha, oh ravenslayer, you have awesome stuff. I love the elvis looking one, but as a biker, it'd be a different biker let's say. I like the hair popping, but I had an idea for a bandana, bikers seem to like those, oh oh and handlebar mustaches.

This looks awesome raven, very funny and very fresh. Keep it up!

Oh my god YES! I love it!

I really like the idea and the design so far. Although I think you should develop the body some more. Maybe push the odd proportions even further. I feel that the pose in particular is kinda weak, the knees are really straight almost to the point where they are inverted, and the arms seem too thick, almost gorilla like.

By the way are you going to give him a bike? With those long arms of his he totally needs to ride one of these:

Ironically, those are called "ape-hangers".

I should totally make him a bike when the character is finished!

here are some variations on the legs i do agree that the pose is still a bit dull but once i get the proportions right i'll do a better posed concept.
