Honestly, for a realtime engine unity is starting to bring some good features to the table to showcase your art. not nearly to the level of udk or marmoset, but you can still get some really decent results with a little work
I was actually working on one of these a while back as I have a macbook pro laptop and I wanted to do some game art at uni but I never finished it. I was using ogre for the rendering. I think there might be some already finished viewers written in ogre that could be multi platform I guess having a look wouldn't hurt.
Yea, I had Windows on my iMac but I just took it off about a month ago because A: I hate windows, and B: I never used it.. haha But I may just have to re-bootcamp and put it back on... the only thing is I dont have my windows disk with me at the moment so I dont know how Im going to pull that off.. Ill look into it.. Thanks again!

since both toolbag and UDK are windows olny.
But personally i would recommended you just install windows and use toolbag and the ton of other great win only tools.
