well... it is not a dove. Bird should probably pull the wings in and if you are focusing animation I would get rid of the blob mesh water as it distracts from the animation and it kinda just looks bad. lol

The bit saying it's not the final full animation? Why not post the final animation then? jeremiah_bigley is just trying to help by looking at the animation you posted in this topic. People cant judge what they can not see
Also, it's still not a dove no matter what the description says
Notice that the swan and the duck do not float around with their wings out. Even sea guls that tend to hold their wings out after landing don't dip them in the water but hold them up and out.
If you're proud of the rigging you did and the wings don't fold up, you should probably dial back the pride a bit... But don't feel too bad bird wing rigging and feather animation can be really complex. But then again you might of bitten off more than you can chew by taking on such a project and not knowing how difficult a task it can be...
I also agree that the "water" is horrifically bad.
I think you've failed to observe the thing(s) you are aiming to recreate.
i'm not an expert on how birds land in water, but what you have looks more like an airplane landing. Birds mostly pull their wings in right before flight because no one likes to have wet wings. They also partially stall above ground and the PLOP in gracefully. I'd get rid of the water, do the animation with a better shot so you can see the approach better and build up anticipation of the land.
What the nuts is going on in here? Looks like a bot that is full of salt and wasn't programmed to distinguish the different features of various white birds.
If you aren't a bot then your overuse of smiley faces and periods isn't helping.
Hey i loved the wallpapers .. High quality... thanks for posting here... and thanks for commenting here...
HAHAHAHAAH you're so defensive, my prediction is that you're never gonna get a job with that attitude. Take the critiques humbly, this 'dove' looks like a swan or something but it's still off. and theres nothing animated about the bird.

So your prediction is wrong .. I am working on a project with someone LOL.. and what is defensive i really like the wallpapers ever its my desktop background and So i am posting a new topic with birds animation Project title ok..its has Some of the more birds including swan duck crane and others are not in video.. but the overall result will be good i am pretty sure i am only animator ......So check out my new topic
You do realize, you would improve more from making corrections that were given to you, than to just plow forward and telling the everyone "FU you bunch of idiots", while continuing to make the same errors on a new project?
And, is there really need to make a new thread, you can post your stuff here...

Omg Look at your rude language at a 5 sec animation which is for fun..
I agree i made mistakes but the way you are posting them is not good..
I want you to know that I am a professional Dove trainer, and that is not a Dove, well not a mature full grown Dove.
Ok sorry , I dont know what i rigged and animated.. I was thinking its like a dove or its a dove..what is the name of bird the i animtd...Dove looks like white pigeon...
I do think there are some jumping to conclusions... though I think we are all just confused as to what you are looking to gain out of posting this.
If you are posting "just for fun" does this mean you don't want critiques? If so maybe you should put a disclaimer saying you don't want feedback and next time we won't bother.

it doesn't mean i don't need critiques it means i know its bad.no ... their is nothing to get anger !! Do you know how to delete a post,,,??
not sure how to delete it. I guess I wasn't saying "need" critiques... Do you "want" critiques?
Because my first post on here was a critique and you responded by telling me to go look at what you said in the first post.
There should most definitely be a "Best of Polycount" board... with bloopers and whatnot.
The biggest problem with the animation is that the "dove" is that his/her wings go under the "water"...
I also did a google search for "Water" and "Dove" as separate words... Not a single image of a dove in water popped up... from this i'm going to assume Doves generally avoid landing in water?
I've personally never seen a pigeon or anything like it doing a water landing.
Hey man sorry if i said something wrong .... I don't want to hurt anyone.. I know you people are just trying to help me.. Next time i will post something good and Long.....:)

Good luck!
Ok I fail to differentiate between this bird and dove ......what the name of this bird !!!
The strangest part is when the water goes over the wings at the end.
This is an interesting video. Were you aiming for a surreal effect or did it just happen?
No This is Complete effect added by me by using volume select mesh verticies affecting Push.. As i said it is not rendered, it is not textured and nothing so it looks like a mud....the water speed is quite fast in real but i don't know why that thing happened.. .. .. thank you for comment....
