Ah no good! UK industry is looking very sports orientated.

Devs gotta start steppin up their A-Game, especially going all out on an FPS.

Hopefully they'll bounce back. This area is usually pretty good due to the number of studios here to collect people when something goes awry.

I heard about this from a few friends who are in various Codemasters studios, including one guy who was in the Guildford branch... sad news indeed. I worked at Codemasters a while back and saw some of the great work that was being produced, including the stuff that Guildford was working on.

Hopefully some of the other studios in Guildford, or other Codies studios can soak up some of the talent to minimise the fallout slightly.
