Finally have a reason to create an account at this wonderful community, and hopefully one of you will be the person who can take advantage of it.
Jib Life Studios has a spot open for an environment artist/map designer. While being an upstart, 3 studios have come together around developing a single IP called Jib Life.
If you think you are an environment/map bad ass, then please submit your portfolio link after reading the below points of interest for anyone who applies. PLEASE DO NOT SUBMIT your portfolio for consideration if you have not read the below job description...

Beyond the above all we require is that you leave any ego you have at home and come into this with a fun and open mind set. We are growing extremely quickly and are looking to bring more people into our family. Be on time, be willing to have fun, and be willing to work with a studio that does not work within "the box".

Environment/Map Artist:

2D and 3D applicants will be accepted, but we are aiming for someone who has the ability to both concept, and implement map designs. 2D work needs to be nothing more and a simple schematic layout.

An understanding of New Age Skiing and Snowboarding (terrain parks, urban, big mountain) is an ABSOLUTE MUST. We have tried working with people who do not understand the sports, and it simply hasn't worked. We don't ask that you do them yourselves, but we will require anyone who applies to greatly familiarize themselves and demonstrate understanding before moving forward.

You will be working hand in hand with our senior designer to plot and then build (blocked out) maps/zones. He has spent his life devoted to these sports for over two decades and will prove to be an invaluable resource to any artist who comes on board.
