3ds Max Animation Question.

I have an animation of a character doing a spinning sword attack in 3ds Max, in which the character moves some distance while in the air. (jumps in the air while spinning, but moves distance) I am wondering if it is possible to somehow get the animation to play in place, like the character not moving any distance. (Like a run loop) Is there anything I can delete in the keyframes that will do this? I tried deleting the position on all frames for the pelvis and feet controllers, (CAT rig) but that just made the character animate in place and twist all crazy. Any help would be appreciated, I do not want to spend hours re-animating, but my game programmer needs the animation to be happening while not moving any distance. Thanks, any help would be greatly appreciated.
