Jacob Norris already posted bad ass Environments.. so I guess I will show some of the stuff I did.
These were made with the possibility of maybe using them in first person, I don't know if it made it in the game, yet.
All these props were rendered in Marmoset so they look kind of weird (at least to me) because they were all textured with Insomniac's engine in mind. I have a ton more impressive alien crap that I will post this weekend, I'm just too damn tired and lazy to do it at the moment. I can't imagine anyone having any questions..but if you do. Please feel free to ask. I like to feel important.
Hahah, your post sounds sad man. No reason to be sad at all, definitely got some bad ass props you did here. These are all definitely portfolio worthy pieces and props anyone should be proud of man. Keep up the good work buddy! Always remember critiques are only there to help you too hehe
Around 4 full work days. But I have gotten faster since then and can probably do it in three. What takes the longest for me is blocking out to get the right proportions
Really nice stuff Erich. Your name sounds very german, are you from germany? I know your residence is in CA but your name says something different
I love your style!
Erich i lovce your textures but all i see is box modeling. I also understand that most things in the real world are made of simple shapes - boxes cylinders and spheres - but did they challenge you to make things that are hard to model?
Super True man!! But, I was just following the Chimeran Art direction and the concepts given to me. You do bring up a point I never noticed before... Man! Now I wanna change stuff!

Konstruct, you should check out the concept artists I worked with. They are mind blowingly amazing.
I did mostly Colin Geller's stuff. http://artofcolin.blogspot.com/
He also has an older blog here.. http://colingeller.blogspot.com/
And I did a couple of Carlo's pieces. http://chainsawart.blogspot.com/
Now, about the left generator thing, I swear the texture was not warped in Insomniac's engine, and for some reason Marmoset renders it weird, whatevz.
I love your style!
