ArenaNet internship - Basilisk

Hey guys, I've started the basilisk for the internship and I'd love some critics. I'm about to start messing with the spikes and his teeth and tongue. Eyes still have to be painted and I plan on giving the whole body another run with a darker shade of blue. What do you think?

Good start. The color gradations look airbrushed. Fix that. The patterns should have a reason for changing colors. When's the last time you saw a chameleon go to an auto paint shop to get flames painted on him?
