Good start!
I take it your using a base model and sculpting on the muscle work?
Some crits;
-The thighs need to be thicker.
-the pecks need to sit properly with the arms.
-The head looks stuck on ;S fix the trap's, angle the clavicals properly. ?/lower the head/?
Just stick with some references and you'll be fine.
TJ, you really need to look at some good anatomy reff and work on your forms. Its very easy to sculpt what you think should be there instead of what should be there. I find it really helps to look at the piece like you would a rock or tree and try and create what you see from your ref rather than a person.
I'll have to agree with the guys. Go down a few subdivs and work out the major proportions/weight of the character. It's much faster and more efficient in the end.
The legs need some defining. Your knees and calves are too thin. Get skeletal reference as well. Muscles don't just sit on top of each other, they originate somewhere on the skeleton and insert somewhere on the skeleton. Also look for the bone landmarks on the body where there the muscles attach themselves such as the pelvic ridge, knees, elbows, ankles, clavicle, scapula, rib cage, etc.
