LGS is seeking Environment Artists and Animators

Lucid Games Studio is looking for talented Environment Artists and Animators to work on our current project. LGS is currently not funded but will be seeking funding in the future, so this is currently a non paid position. If you are looking for an exciting next gen project and are passionate about video games then you could be a perfect fit for LGS. Applicants must be highly motivated and able to work independently or in a team setting.

Who we have so far

2 Animators - 2 more positions
3 Character Artists
3 Environment Artists - 2 more positions
5 Concept Artists
1 Game Designer
3 C++ Programmers
1 Sound Engineer

Now... the duties of the artists are as follows

Environment/Prop Artist
- Model and Texture high quality assets for 3D game worlds
- Communicate with Leads to create amazing awe inspiring game worlds and levels
- Ensure the artistic direction is followed and vision of project is maintained
- Contribute to an artistic pipeline that all other artists can use/follow
- Ability to multitask and prioritize
- Zbrush experience is MUST
- 3dsmax knowledge is preffered for modeling package

Animators
- Create realistic animations for multi legged creatures/bugs and bipedal characters
- Ensure animations are fluent between different animators
- Asses possible problems with geometry and report them(mesh crash, unskinned verts etc etc)
- Must use 3dsmax to animate (we will be getting a floating license for 3ds max only)
- Be active on the forums and team meetings, showing progress of current assignments
