making this really just to practice my hi poly modeling and to see if i can actually finish a model with out following a tut
(racers tut doesnt count coz i havnt seen it all and im not copying it 100% lol)
so what do you think so far?
there are some bits im not really happy with and might change so they closer match the ref.
and theres som bits i havnt done yet as you can see

Light gray model, dark gray background, use spec to help define shapes, not to mess things up!

My point is, look for several AK47 references. Then pick the best out of each to make the highest quality model that you can. Considering the AK47 is a very popular model in the cg world, If I where in you're shoes I would consider doing a custom AK47 instead. This will stand out against the other thousand AK47 models that are already made.

decided to change it up a bit a change the top of the grip to a rail mount it still needs some work tho its kinda boring at the moment
working on the sights atm
