Does the bamboo pen feel different than craft?

I had gotten the craft for Christmas a year ago, and its difficult to sketch on it because it feels like a laptop touch pad, and its plastic on plastic slippery when drawing. I just wanted to know if the Bamboo pen and touch is a little more rubbery on the surface so It has a fair amount of resistance? Its only $80 so I can easily swap over.

Just tape a piece of paper on top of the surface. Instant "tooth", and ~$80 cheaper.

yea for the most part all of the tablets are pretty slick when it comes to this. So a lot of people who like the feel of drawing on paper, or just got used to the resistance, tape a piece of paper over the tablet. It also helps to avoid damaging the tablet over long periods of intensive use.

So this worked, but a little later I found that the tablet pics up the paper as a fingertip, so whenever I move my mouse the paper 'taps' it and leaves paint everywhere...

so you have a touch tablet and not a pen tablet then... you might be able to change the settings to shave off the lower threshold for touch strength. Thus making it ignore the paper...
