Looking really great. I recognize it from the movies. I think this is supposed to be the third floor bathroom, because this is the room where they fought the troll. Either way, it's looking good and I look forward to seeing where you go with it.
Interesting idea for a scene. ysalex is right though, what you have is much closer to the bathroom where they fought the troll in philosopher's stone. /nerdvoice
Regardless of lore or whatever, the more important thing is that it reads as being in Hogwarts, an old medieval castle. Keep in mind though, Hogwarts is well maintained for the most part. The overall architecture you have made the room with is ok, the trim of the bathroom door could be better, and the lancet arches (I learned a new term today ) are too low poly:
It just sticks out, especially in contrast to the mirrors, which look like they have 10x as many tris, even though they take up much less screen real estate.
I have to say, I'm not a big fan of the bathroom stalls you did. It doesn't really match with the style of Hogwarts at all. The stalls in the movie are painted green, and look clean. Not saying you have to follow the movie 1:1 or whatever, but I think those stalls you have are really going to clash with the stoney, gothic architecture.
Anyways, keep going, and I look forward to seeing more, I'm a Potter fan.

OH RLY?? :poly124:
look forward to it too anyway. its coming along nicely.
hey dude, really love the idea/concept, my only issue is, well would the stalls really be wooden and grungey? this is a high class magical prep school, i really cant picture one of the houses bathrooms being so, well wooden lol. Other than that, great job
Coming back to this with some wips
Please realize these are not my textures on anything except the candles :P
Thanks to JordanW for the stand in textures from the bathhouse!
looking cool, the size of the floor's seams and overall surface sizes makes it look a little weird scale wise, maybe add a few more seams to break it up.
it seems quite dark, maybe light it up a bit? i mean i know they're candles but they're magic candles, if you remember the bathroom was pretty bright in the movie
