I created a very to-the-point tutorial for setting up your first level with custom textures and models. I experienced EXTREME frustration trying to blend textures and little to no help on multiple forums (except polycount), so I created this tutorial so that hopefully no beginner will experience what I did.
If you can't tell, I hate small talk in tutorials. Please critique, as this is my first tutorial.
Thanks again polycount, and [HP] andParoXumfor hellping me.
I mentioned in the video it may be correct to use a low resolution image instead of a solid color, but when I personally used low resolution images, things looked too blotchy from far away. Would be nice to learn a method for creating really nice background layer textures.
My website, www.justmakegames.com has launched, where these tutorials and many more tutorials, resources, and contests for free prizes will be held.
JustMakeGames is more or less aimed toward helping beginners learn and collaborate to find groups to work with. I know this is a forum filled with somewhat more experienced users, but I still hop you will take a few seconds to register on my site (no e-mail activation required) and add an avatar to your profile to support my site's growth. Thanks.

That said I think part1 is all right.
