32bit to 64bit

So I'm thinking about switching to 64 bit OS (windows 7)

question tho, (it may be retarded) Would my files from the 32bit be compatible with the 64bit? like for instance my .max files, Udk stuff, etc..

Yes. Havent ever run into anything like that except when trying to run old games Also should have gone into tech talk
