If those Japanese characters are supposed to be carved in my hand, they are a mite too clean otherwise its a perfect asset. Blurry in some parts, maybe your texel disparity is a little messed up?

I meant for them to be painted on. And thanks!
Could you point me to the parts you would say are too blurry?
Loving how this looks Webster, I would personally love to have some more spec on the chipped paint parts, which would really complete the specular map. The wood and paint is already pretty damn good and so is the diffuse.
I would take the wood saturation down a little but more. The metal has some nice colors going on in it. The only other thing I noticed was that the inside of the receiver looked too clean (Especially the underside of the mag door) . Maybe some low specular dark grey build up?
Oh also, I would add some finish loss or small chipping on the stock where the wood meets the metal.

i'd put some wear/damage on the mag too and desaturate the wood abit
Thanks for the advice.
