Hey guys, I just got picked up as an environment artist for Vigil Games. Super stoked and happy about this, sounds like a fantastic studio.:)
Atm, I'm in Atlanta, and I'll be moving to Austin in about two weeks. Just curious if anybody is in need of a roommate?
Edit: Just did my homework, and it seems like asking for 300 a month (even split) would be unreasonable.
I'll probably slum it with a craigslist apartment for a while, till I save up enough to get something reasonable.
Any suggestions of good deals or roomates wanted would be fantastic.

Housing is that cheap in austin? here in ny you wouldn't get a bathroom for that much
In Atlanta, 600 a month is not to uncommon, I was thinking of splitting an apartment with another poor artist for around 300 each. Seems that Austin is a bit more expensive tho.

I think I may have found an answer to my housing, tho I'll still ask sue about the roomates list when I get the chance.
