Hi Polycount. I'm working on a new character model for my portfolio. I humbly submit my first attempt at a likeness. Any and all feedback is appreciated.

Nice to see you posting on here! Can you post the reference images that you were using? It helps us give you better feedback when we can view the source material, especially when you are doing likeness sculpts.
Because I'm using this as an example for a class I moved forward and started sculpting his upper body as well. But here's a shot of the head in profile, it definitely needs some more work, especially the ear, but I'm curious about any insights all of you might be able to provide. Hopefully the reference photos help.
I finally found some time to make some more progress on this project. I'm going to go ahead and call the head done for the most part. Although I still need to pull his nose to the left to create the asymmetry in his face...
Since I'm relatively new to this type of work I feel like it's important to move on to the next step in the process in order to avoid stagnation. Even if the likeness isn't perfect I feel like I got close enough on this first attempt and holy crap did I learn a lot while doing it.
Great likeness, though the ears still need a tad more work ...also even though I'm sure he worked out for Predators, he still had that lanky skinny look to him, I think he was bulked out with his armour and huge gun, so definately maintain that.
@SCB Thanks! I plan on taking this all the way to a finished in-game character complete with normal, spec, AO etc.
@Tenchi Thanks! I agree with you about the ear and now that you mention it I think I am going to slow my roll a bit and give the ear some more love. You're right about his build, he was very cut but definitely lacked that Arnold bulk.

Nice to be here Virtuosic! As requested:
Here's one of the images of him in character.
Thanks to Suburbbum for showing me how to get my images to display properly!
And here's a front view...
